CIC will host a 45-minute session, educating property managers on current legislative affairs affecting resident screening, June 19 at 5:15 p.m. in Learning Zone 2. Attendees will learn from two industry-leading experts, Caryn Bennett and Dan Firestone.
Bennett is CIC’s compliance manager with more than 20 years of experience in resident screening. She is the chair of the resident screening committees for the NCRA and National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS). Firestone, is CIC’s vice president and director, with more than 25 years of industry experience.

According to the NAA, this year’s keynote sessions will include Michael J. Fox, an Emmy award-winning actor, author and activist; Barbara Corcoran and Daymond John, entrepreneurs and panel members on ABC’s Shark Tank; and Alex Sheen, founder of a charity called ‘because I said I would.’ The conference will also include an exciting line-up of motivational Thought Leader speakers and more than 40 breakout sessions covering the hottest industry topics.
